The Lighthouse Completes Six Years of BBB Business Accreditation

According to the Better Business Bureau, there are more than 400,000 accredited BBB members in the America, a symbol or trust and reliability, which is why representatives with Crescent Harbor Lighting (http://www.crescentharbor.com), the online arm of The Lighthouse, is excited to announce that The Lighthouse has completed six years of the BBB accreditation.

“Trust is something that we truly value here and we consider it an honor to partner with the BBB for the six year in a row to ensure that customers always feel safe, secure, and continue to have trust in everything we do,” said Tim Fossett, spokesman for The Lighthouse, a family-owned lighting company founded in 1972. “It is our pleasure to operate under the BBB’s code of business practices.”

The BBB Code of Business Practices represents sound advertising, selling and customer service practices that enhance customer trust and confidence in business. The code is built on the BBB Standards for Trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in business.

Since December 10, 2010, the BBB has determined that Lighthouse Distribution Corporation has an A+ rating and meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. The BBB provides reviews on businesses that include background, licensing, consumer experience and other information such as governmental actions that is known to BBB. These reviews are provided for businesses that are BBB accredited and also for businesses that are not BBB accredited.

The Lighthouse has been in business for 35 years and is in the second generation of ownership.
