The Karen Miller Agency, a Birmingham area firm that offers insurance management assistance and personal financial planning to families and business owners throughout central Alabama, is announcing a charity drive to raise local support for the Helena Miracle League as they build a new baseball field for disabled children in the area.
Presently, there are more than 240 Miracle League organizations throughout the Americas, serving more than 200,000 adults and children with physical disabilities. The Miracle League build new baseball fields entirely from donations provided by the community, and helps to provide area children with sporting events tailored to participants of all ability levels.
“We’re asking everyone in the Birmingham area to join us as we help build a new Miracle League field in our community to ensure all our children can experience the fun and excitement of baseball,” says Karen Miller, executive manager and principal agent of the Karen Miller Agency.
To raise awareness of the Miracle League charity event and help raise donations that will go toward building the new field, Miller and her team are connecting with regional families and civic leaders over email and social media channels.
