Thank you Miller Elementary teachers
Part of the reason my family moved to our present neighborhood was because it was just around the corner from Miller Elementary School, and our daughter was headed off to kindergarten soon. We grew to appreciate the 30-second commute. This past week she had her first graduation ceremony after completing the sixth grade.
Miller School has been very good to our student and our family. The school grounds as a shared public park has kept us outdoors and active together over the years. The teachers, staff and administrators have been impressive at all levels, even during the leanest years of the recession.
The Sutterfields would like to thank Ms. Harris, Ms. Outland, Mrs. Ellickson, Mrs. Metz, Mrs. Husky, and Ms. Pinto for their creative and dedicated approach to the art and science of teaching thirty young minds five and a half hours a day.
Orcutt Veterinary served aging dog well
We want to thank Dr. Brenda Forsythe and her staff at Orcutt Veterinary for their compassion and support last Thursday when our 15 year-old dog, Aspen, crossed over the rainbow bridge.
She and her staff gave our two dogs the best care over the past 10 years and they helped us thru the grieving process when Buck passed away in 2015. We also thank Debbie Johnson at Critter Nanny in Orcutt who took care of Aspen while we were away. Despite Aspen’s mobility problems, Debbie was so kind and gentle with her. We were truly blessed to have Orcutt Vet and Debbie in our lives and in our two dog’s lives. Lots of roses to you both!
